Mike Kjergaard
Senior Minister
Mike Kjergaard has served as Senior Minster with Cedar Creek since August 2003. A native of Three Oaks, Michigan, Mike is a graduate of Great Lakes Christian College (B.R.E. 1987) and Kentucky Christian University (M.Min. 1996). He served as evangelist with the Church of Christ in White Pigeon, Michigan, 1987-1991. He also served for twelve years as Preaching Minister with the Northampton Church of Christ, Hampton, Virginia.
Mike has written articles for various magazines and newspapers. He is a regular columnist for reIGNITED, a publication of Impact Canada. He has preached at numerous camp meetings and revivals, and has served in a leadership capacity with state and regional Christian conventions. He serves currently on the Board of Directors with the Woodburn Christian Children’s Home and Golden Years Homestead.
He enjoys running, golf, and spending time with his family. Mike and his wife Tracy (Merritt), have two children, Lindsey and Luke.
